1-Tour by kayak on Lake Albano organised by Canoa Kayac Academy
The tour always begins with a lesson on paddling technique on land, the guides are also kayak instructors. During the paddle, participants will be immersed in the deepest peace of the lake, a unique expression of flora and fauna just minutes from Rome. Your guide will tell you about the history of the lake of Castel Gandolfo and show you some unique historical points, such as the submerged pilings of the Villaggio dei Mulini, the harbours of the Roman villas and in particular that of Emperor Domitian’s villa, where the Romans loved to watch the atrocious spectacle of naval battles (naumachia), the houses of some hermits and the trampoline of the Popes, where the ancient popes loved to dive down from their summer residence located in the village above the lake. In warmer periods, from March to the end of October, there will also be a relaxing break where we will dock at a beach that can only be reached by kayak and swim and dive in the pristine waters of the lake. Throughout the tour, instructors will give you ongoing lessons on paddle technique, and at the end of your experience you will know how to kayak discreetly.

2 – E-MOUNTAIN BIKE hire and excursions at the Sporting Club Montegentile
Located inside a beautiful park, just near Parco Chigi, the club offers electric MTB hire and guided tours on request, from the more relaxed to the more extreme!
The bikes can be used by anyone due to the assistance of electric MTB technology, no climb or route will be too challenging, or in any case the level of physical effort can be adjusted according to one’s needs as each MTB has 5 levels of help on the bike.
It’s possible to rent the bike for half a day or for the whole day.
Full day excursions are also organized with a tour guide, lunch and use of the changing room and showers.
